April 2019 Newsletter

Dear friends!

Over the past several years, many of you have been praying about my health. As most of you know, ever since I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome three years ago, my health has been progressively deteriorating. December of last year saw an even more rapid decline in my energy levels, with me becoming almost bedridden by the beginning of 2019.

Today I am thrilled to share with you that I recently experienced a HUGE breakthrough in my health. It came on very suddenly and was not triggered by any particular event. As I was getting ready to go to bed on March 12, I just felt in my body and in my spirit something shift and I knew that I was free - free from fatigue, free from pain, free from all the burdens of my past, free of depression, free of fear. FREE to be who God created me to be. Am I 100 % healed? Probably not (at least, not yet). But I am feeling stronger and more energetic each day. Yes, there is pain and fatigue, but I am choosing to celebrate progress!

I can once again engage in activities that I could not do before, such as driving, shopping, doing dishes and laundry, meeting a friend for coffee, going to church and most importantly continuing my ministry in Cuba.

Cuba

It was heartbreaking to have to abandon some of my ministry plans earlier this year due to my health.

And today I am so incredibly happy to share with you that I am back in the game with my next trip to Cuba scheduled for April 24 - Mary 1, 2019.

I have been invited to do ministry at several churches where I taught The Kingdom Culture seminar in the past. I will also be delivering some funds raised for specific projects including the church construction and Ministry to Seniors. Since my last visit to Cuba, there has been a change in the regional leadership, and I will be using this trip as an opportunity to introduce myself to a new presbyter, to share with him my vision, and to discuss future ministry plans.

And that is not all! Just days after I started feeling better I was invited by Kristen D'Arpa (the author of The Kingdom Culture curriculum I have been teaching in Cuba) to join her team this summer as they travel to Brazil to do evangelism crusades and public schools ministry. Stay tuned for more information about this exciting opportunity to partner up with God's work in the nations.

Dear friends!

We are serving an incredible God whose love towards us is unfailing and immeasurable. We are serving the God with whom miracles are real and breakthroughs are possible! And today I am praying for all of you who are waiting for one.

I want you to be encouraged! Your breakthrough is coming! It is not far! It may be just one prayer away! And meanwhile, find strength in the knowledge that our God is a good, good Father “who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us!”

Be blessed!
